I've just learned that the strings on Burn The Witch are playing col legno (yes, I did have to look it up too): https://www.classicfm.com/discover-musi ... the-witch/

Break out your junker bows!

- We're making tea-towels (£10) and hi-qual posters (£5) of mel's great design and we're just deciding how many to order so please fill out the poll below

- There will be saturday afternoon extra rehearsals at all hallows hall, 2-6pm , the day and the week before the gig so please book that in now. thats sat 16th and sat 23rd november

- here's the poll: https://doodle.com/poll/yzwcbgpzhms446wh

- the dress code is fairly ambitious. we'd like everyone to wear radios on their heads + swimming costumes (can be worn on top of clothes super-hero style) ready to plunge into a moonshaped pool.
so please get designing and making as soon as possible. we'll a run workshop around the saturday rehearsals

- please print posters and make sure we've posted in all the places Radiohead and orchestra fans will see them... including police stations , university campus and student unions, keep-fit clubs, dance studios, all the cafe's in southville, glos rd and easton. etc etc

- please share FB event https://www.facebook.com/events/2437390173045440/ and encourage pals to get the cheap tickets which are only available until the 1st oct

- tickets are available from the St georges website, Bristol Ticket shop and Headfirst

- we'll need fodder for the online publicity so little video clips of bits from rehearsals, or pics of your costumes in advance etc would be very handy. please send to me jesse@fantasyorchestra.org or maeve : corcoranmal@gmail.com

- orchestra you might like to look in advance at some of the parts. For example I've just finished track 9 Present Tense and there's some latinesque semi-quaver action you may want to preview. There are already plenty of midi exports so you can hear how it goes ... let me know if you need another part not yet in the folder.

- choir, for this show we'd like to sing without sheets. I know you've already mastered Daydreaming and Identikit but please put a little time in between rehearsals to get the whole set into your memorybanks. It will make such a Huge difference to the sound of the choir and to your own enjoyment of the show!

thanks everyone for participating and making this show a massive success!

lyrics:

here are Yohavs lyric corrections

3) Decks Dark:
- Then into your life (...) there's a spacecraft
- made of wet sand (not "in the")
- split infinities (not 100% sure, it's written on the official lyrics though)
- But it's the loudest sound (x2) ("but" is lacking twice)
- The 1st "sweet darling" is still on the lyrics

4) Desert Island Disk:
- With my spirit white

5) Ful Stop:
- You really messed up everything (not "you've")
- If you could take it all... (not "but" you could)
- The 1st "will you" in "will you take me back again?" is lacking

6) Glass Eyes:
- The path trails... --> there's no "car trail"

8) The Numbers:
- Open on all channels (not "over all")

9) Present Tense:
- I'm doing no harm (not "no wrong")
- or the penny drops (not 100% sure here though)

10) Tinker Tailor:
- The one(s) ..... is crawling out (it's singular and he just sings "is" the 2nd time but that doesn't really matter).
