Hi all

Re Priston Festival
Hi all

Re Priston Festival
We are all very pleased the orchestra is to perform.
Please note the timings are slightly earlier than previously stated. FO need to be ready to start playing at 1.15 pm therefore ready to get on stage etc at 12.45 Sat 20th
Please note
People welcome to camp Friday Sat and Sun if they want to - its free, but all there is a portaloo and tap. There is a big flat field for camper vans and a valley for cute(r) camping – stream woods etc. It about 10 min walk – max – from the stage. ((Not many people camp – we don’t want to stress the village too much)).
The postcode of the festival site is BA2 9EE. There is a map on google maps
The festival is free, apart some ticketed event in Church and Village Hall - inc Sas playing flute with guitarist in the lovely old church Sunday pm
So tell you chums
There is a £3 parking fee for punters – not artists. But if they arrive before 11 am it free
All you guys can park in the main car park or artist carpark - main car park if you not got heavey stuff to carry. Artist carpark involves stopping - unloading heavy kit then moving car to the camping field - bit more complicated for all

There are good food stalls – and the pub will do food - but if it nice weather these might get a get queue-y
There will be tea making stuff for performers – but we can’t feed everyone for free (sorry) – free apples though
The should be jamming / sessions in the pub in the evenings.

As well as the Orchestra playing - Jacques, A Robin is on the smaller stage and Neil Smith is doing a duo under the name Frobisher (Sat) and Sas (Sunday)
It is a small village festival so don’t come thinking it anything else - but it should be very nice , friendly and quite partyish on Sat night – band outside till 8.30 then another band in village hall 9.30 till late (no ticket needed)
Email Owain if you want other info
The website is a bit plain – but very clear – hopefully. Take a look
I will, no doubt, be pretty hassled on the day – so please be kind – and help appreciated
