frome festival

Post by katieellen »

Dear All,

we have been offered a free camp site for the day and night of the Frome festival, 8 July. George, a good friend, has offered his paddock, downstairs loo and shower. Jesse thinks there might be 30 of you and George says you are all very welcome (might be a bit of a queue for loo, but there you are).
Room for tents, about four support cars, 3 mile cycle into Frome, shallow stream safe for swimming ( keep an eye on wee ones said George ), private garden surrounded by neighbours,so kindly keep night noise to minimum... also said George which is fair enough......

for those of a strong disposition I believe that a troop of tutu-ed males, including Roger, will be dancing the cygnet dance from Swan Lake, as part of the festival.
Funnily enough it makes a lot for charity..so I will let you know where you can find (or avoid) them before our set. Amazingly it's all part of the food festival, so there will be lots of choice of places to eat.. hooray..
