Hello fantasians

We have a gig booked for Thornbury Sailing Club week - venue is Oldbury on Severn , a lovely little village on the Severn Estuary with the Severn Bridge down one way and Oldbury Power Station the other. Nearest train station is Severn Beach, about an hour cycle away - (scenic journey). The sailing club is down a gated road across from the Anchor pub.

The gig is the evening of Friday 23rd August - however club week runs from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd - Fantasians and their families are welcome to stay for all or part of the week (including Friday night) - the camping is fairly wild rather than a campsite, but it is mostly flat & there are facilities including toilets, shower, small camp kitchen and bar. There will be activities all week, eg treasure hunt, tug of war, open mike, and of course sailing - a 3 hour window each day to test the water if you wish! There will also be some sort of food provision each night - eg pizza oven/fish van etc. It is usually around £20 for camping for all or part of the week.
