Hi all - re The Priston Music Festival below is the 'standard' camping info we send out. Please note there is no charge for performers to camp. There is actually a cute valley with a standing stone and a stream that the orchestra and pals could make camp in if enough want to. Or anyone wants to camp there. It is just through the gate at the top of the main field. Ther FO are on at 6 pm on Sat 14th on the 'Village Green Stage'. There is only 30 mins to get on stage so get on is 5.30. There are a few other orchestra related acts playing on Sat (and Sun) so please look out for those.

Here is our standard info – Camping / camper vans at Priston Festival
you are welcome to camp / bring a camper van. Priston Festival does not provide official camping. This is done by private arrangement with me (Owain) as one of the farm owners. We do not push camping at the Festival, so there might be – guess - 30 tents and vans. So not at all crowded. The camping site is a just a big flat field. It is about 3 mins walk from the festival stages, up a lane past the church. Very quiet spot. There is a map link in the Festival info if you look. The field is next door to the Priston Cricket Pitch and the gate just a bit further up the lane than the cricket club gate. CAMPING IS NOT SIGNPOSTED. TO GET TO THE CAMPING FIELD FOLLOW ARTIST PARKING SIGN. DRIVE UP LANE BEHIND THE PUB – Ring O Bells, Priston, postcode BA2 9EE. The field is large and flat and very well behaved in terms of driving on it. Generally not at all muddy. The only facilities are 1 toilet and a tap. It can be quite dark at night – no lights. It is important not to be noisy at night as the field is near a few houses. It is possible to camp right at the top of the field or even in the valley beyond if you want to be a bit noisy at night. Food. Priston is a small festival – there are nice stalls for food on Sat and Sun – (not Friday) – but these do not go on late into the evening. There is no shop. The pub will do food over the weekend but that can be a bit unreliable in the evening if it’s too busy. There is no fee for camping but a £10 donation per night fee to the farm is welcome. (Goes to festival costs via us). Please hand donation in at festival info desk. Please do think of buying tickets for the Friday night gigs which will be great. Ticket info on website. Otherwise most of the music is free to view. Cheers.

***************** OFFICIAL ARTIST INFO FROM OWAIN ****************************

Dear artist performing at Priston Festival 2019

Thanks for agreeing to play/perform.
All performers can park for free (obvs) in the artist parking field. Please pass this info on to other band members etc.
The weather looks as though it should be good (hope hope), in that case, especially, there should be a good crowd.
Please spread the word, encourage people to come – main stages are un-ticketed.
To arrive, whatever stage you are on, do this please
Don’t go to main parking.
Go to Artist Parking. This is thoroughly signposted. And also is where you can camp if you are so minded.
It is a large flat field, 3 mins walk from the stages. Full camping info is pasted below.
The address / postcode to get to is the Ring O Bells pub, PRISTON, Bath, BA2 9EE.
Artist parking is up the lane directly behind the pub. This has access for artist and a few campers and local residents only. There will be security and a barrier. Just say you are playing etc.
Soon past the barrier is the all-important “artist drop off point”for those with heavy kit.
If you have light kit just go straight to artist parking and walk back down. It’s only a few mins
To drop heavy kit, park at artist drop off point – which will have crew in place and a tent. Leave kit there. Then go and park car in car park, then come back to move kit to green/room stage.
No artists can park at the artist drop-off point for the duration of their set, or for any longer than just to unload. It blocks up the system / narrow village lanes(s)
If you are leaving, and need to pick up kit, just do the same the other way. Liaise with the helpers.
If you are playing in the church, you will pass it, having driven up behind the pub, the parking field is very close to the church, so just go straight there.
If you are playing in the pub probably best to use the artist drop off system which is close to pub.
Please note about food in the camping details
The Green Room will have very basic refreshments in it

My number is 07871 572969 – call text if needs be
