Lisa, Jesse, Ole, Mark, Steve, Camille, Mel, Stan, George,Ruth C,Holly and Steph.
Membership Update
Discussion on committee rolls and to select day of A.G.M. it was thought that this would be in July and that a Doodle poll would be sent out by Jesse to finalize date.

Stan Reported that there were 41 paid up members for this term
the consensus was that paying up front on a termly basis seemed to be working o.k.
Ruth C discussed the barriers to new members joining the choir and Steph reported that this was a similar affair in sections of the orchestra too.
It was thought that a mentoring greeter role was created

To aid cohesion between Choir and Orchestra more joint rehearsal were discussed and it was thought that this could happen on a Tuesday at a frequency of once a month

For the sake of inclusiveness, when small choir groups or solos are required an email would be sent out for volunteers from both the orchestra and the choir.
A finance update revealed that we lost money on the Kuumba 6music (gig) but we made on the Backwell (Bowie) gig and after expenses we are in the black to the tune of £880.00. it was made clear that it is essential that rehearsals need to be self funding there was some discussion on what to spend excess cash on new kit was mooted, there is also the need to purchase some public liability insurance.
We talked about the up an coming gigs the dates of which always tag these emails
in addition to those a possible date for the cycle tour which will be the end of Aug start of Sept around the north Kent coast
New term dates 18th April orchestra 19th choir.
