Re: Bicycle Tour 2017 july 6-9th
Greetings all!
Is anyone planning on driving to and from the Frome gig on Saturday 8th (coming back that night)?
If so, would you have room for a not-so-small one?
Road snacks and "witty" conversation a speciality......
Cheers! xx

Re: Bicycle Tour 2017 july 6-9th
Hello all. below is info about camping accommodation on Saturday night in Frome from Roger's friend George,
can you let me know whose doing what and what time you might arrive? Offered to look after Faten, so we can drive over and meet you.
Best Kathy
"We are pretty laid back about all this so people can come and go as they wish. It will be useful to know when to expect the first people. People can stay on as long as they like...
I will be around until about 4ish when I will need to head into town to get ready for the synchronised swimming so it would be good if a few people have arrived by then.
If folk are wanting to cycle into town later I can leave a few maps - it is quite easy and usually takes about 15 mins.
Are you likely to want a fire? If so I will organise some wood....
We will have about 4 parking spaces by our house but it might be possible to slip a few cars into the neighbouring field ( belonging to my in-laws) if necessary.
The only thing to bear in mind is there will only be one loo available! Also, the field is beside a stream so anyone with little-ones may need to keep a close eye. Whilst people can swim in it, the water level is pretty low at the moment - it may also mean that there could be quite a lot of midges as well as plenty of bats, birds, deer, badgers and a lonesome heron. We also have a dog - he will enjoy having everyone there as long a people throw sticks for him.
Our address is:
Sunnyside, Vallis Vale, Great Elm, Frome BA11 3NW.
Tel 01373 469950, 07802 197511.
I will send out a map next weekend.
Catch you soon.
GEORGE
